Rivian is "adopting" the charging stations in this project, which will serve their customers as well as any EVs from all other makes. That's what Adopt a Charger does they find sponsors to "adopt" the charging station and pay for the installation and upkeep, so customers can plug in and charge up for free. And in even better news, they will all be open to the public and free to use. Rivian and the Los Angelos-based non-profit, Adopt a Charger, are collaborating on a project that will add dozens of level 2 charging stations to Yosemite National Park and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
